MSA Formula
MSA Formula (full name MSA Formula – Certified by FIA, Powered by Ford EcoBoost) is a single-seater motorsport series based in the United Kingdom. The series will be run to the FIA's Formula 4 regulations, and is administered by Motor Sports Association. The championship is designed as a low-cost entrance to car racing, and is aimed at young racing drivers moving up from karting. Although recognised by the FIA as the official British Formula 4 series, the rights to the name in the UK are held by the BRDC Formula 4 Championship, a rival championship also run to F4 regulations. The championship replaces the British Formula Ford Championship, and will continue to use a chassis produced by Mygale and engines from Ford. The inaugural 2015 season will be part of the TOCA tour, a series of events run alongside the British Touring Car Championship. It will be contested over thirty races, held over ten meetings. == Championship format == Each championship event will consist of three races. The series is run in support of the BTCC, which will comprise ten events in 2015. Fifteen-year-olds are eligible to compete in the series, after the MSA lowered the age limit for single-seater championships. The winner of the championship will be named the FIA Formula 4 champion, and will be rewarded a test with a FIA European Formula Three Championship team.〔
